RedStone Oracle: A Promising New Oracle Project in Crypto

1. RedStone – A Next-Generation Oracle Ecosystem in Crypto

RedStone is a decentralized oracle protocol developed to meet the growing data demands of decentralized applications (dApps) and Layer 2 blockchains in the crypto ecosystem. Unlike traditional oracles such as Chainlink, RedStone uses an “on-demand” data delivery model, meaning data is sent to smart contracts only when needed. This approach reduces gas costs and improves efficiency.

Supporting both EVM and non-EVM blockchains, RedStone aims to provide fast, accurate off-chain data with easy integration and a flexible, secure architecture. It is designed for use across a wide range of DeFi, GameFi, and Web3 applications, positioning itself as a modern oracle solution for the evolving crypto industry.

2. RED Token – Powering Utility and Governance in the Ecosystem

The RED token serves as both a utility and governance token within the RedStone ecosystem. Issued on the Ethereum blockchain, RED has a total supply of 1 billion tokens. Holders can stake RED, participate in protocol governance, and earn rewards for providing or validating pricing data. This model ensures transparency and decentralization within RedStone's oracle infrastructure.

RedStone’s inclusion in Binance Launchpool as the 64th project in February 2025 marked a major milestone for its adoption. The token distribution is well-balanced (31.7% for Early Backers, 28.3% for Ecosystem & Providers, 20% for Core Contributors, 10% for Community & Genesis, and 10% for Protocol Development), fostering sustainable long-term growth in an increasingly competitive crypto market.

3. Founding Team and Impressive Fundraising Rounds

RedStone is led by a highly experienced team in blockchain and crypto. Founder Jakub Wojciechowski has worked on major projects like Delta Prime and Zeppelin, while co-founder Marcin Kaźmierczak brings expertise from Gitcoin, ETHWarsaw, and other key initiatives. Their vision and technical background give RedStone a strong foundation for innovation.

The project has also secured over $22 million in funding across multiple rounds. In August 2022, RedStone raised $7 million in a Seed round led by Lemniscap and joined by Coinbase Ventures and Blockchain Capital. In May 2023, it attracted notable angel investors like Stani Kulechov (Aave) and Emin Gün Sirer (Avalanche). Its latest Series A round in July 2024 brought in $15 million, led by Arrington XRP Capital with participation from The Spartan Group, IOSG Ventures, and others—prominent names in the crypto venture space.
