Avantis DEX Overview: 100x Leverage on Base

1. What is Avantis?

Avantis is a perpetual DEX built on Base that allows users to trade perpetual contracts with up

to 100x leverage across various assets. The platform integrates oracle solutions from Chainlink

and Pyth Network to deliver real-time asset pricing, ensuring secure and transparent trading

experiences.

Currently, Avantis has not released information regarding its tokenomics.

2. Key Features of Avantis

Compared to other DEXs in the market, Avantis stands out with the following:

It supports a wide range of assets, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional finance and

crypto by enabling leveraged trading of crypto assets up to 100x.

Avantis offers a segmented risk management system to protect liquidity providers (LPs) during

volatile market conditions:

Junior Tranche: High risk, high return (up to 65%).

Senior Tranche: Lower risk, moderate return (around 35%).

In addition, Avantis is developing a real-yield mechanism allowing LPs to earn up to 80% of the

platform's trading fees.

While there is no confirmed airdrop, Avantis is running a campaign called “Avantis XP” where

LPs can earn experience points by engaging with the platform. Here’s how to participate:

Step 1: Visit the Avantis interface and click “Login” at the top right to connect your wallet

(Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, or WalletConnect supported).

Step 2: Click “Earn” on the menu and select a liquidity strategy:

Junior Tranche: Higher potential return (up to 65%) with higher risk.

Senior Tranche: Lower risk with a stable return (~35%).

Step 3: Enter the desired amount of USDC to deposit and receive jvUSDC tokens along with the

applicable APY.

Step 4: Use the “Lock” feature to lock your jvUSDC. The longer the lock period, the more XP

you earn. Users can also earn extra points by trading perpetual contracts through the “Trade”

feature.
